Come join us for the 2017 CCA Kid’s Fishing Derby!

Free!
Registration: 8:30 – 9:00
Fishing: 9:00 – 10:30
Prizes: 11:00 prizes awarded by age group: 3-5, 6-8- 9-11, 12-15 years old

Kids ages 3-15 who reside with or are guests of Landings Residents.
An adult must accompany kids & stay with them during the event.
Lagoon #56, behind the Fire House in Oakridge, near crossover bridge on Westcross at Log Landing.

Our goal is to help kids learn to enjoy fishing, promote sportsmanship, conservation,
and provide family fun. We’ll be fishing for bluegills and bass

What to Bring: Fishing gear and bait. Bandy’s Bait Shop, located at the Rodney J. Hall boat ramp at the base of the Skidaway Island Bridge, sells worms and crickets.

Complimentary fishing poles and bait will be available at the event on a first come basis. Volunteers will be available to assist with rigging and fish handling.

Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes. You may also want a hat,
sunscreen, chair, bug spray and water.

2017 Sapelo Oyster Roast & Membership Appreciation Event

The Sapelo Chapter of Coastal Conservation Association Georgia is having its 2nd Annual Oyster Roast on Saturday, February 25th, 2017! We’ll have food, beverages, a few raffle items and lots of fun! To make your reservation or get additional information, contact Russell Kent (rkent51@yahoo.com). We’re asking both active members and future members to make reservations…gotta make sure we don’t run out of oysters! Also, please let me know if you would like to volunteer to help with the cooking.

WHAT: Local oysters and clams accompanied by specialty dishes provided by some of our special people. We’ll also have beer, wine and sweet tea!

WHEN: Saturday, February 25th from 6-9 P.M

WHERE: Delta Plantation Clubhouse on Harris Neck (contact Russell if you need directions)

Active CCA Members: Free! Includes food and beverages for you and your spouse or guest
Future CCA Members: $30 individual; includes food, beverages and one year membership.

Chuck Smith and Sons 2016 Fly Fishing Trip
